New Year's Eve Dinner with Jimmy Dean's Bacon Lovers

Oh the Holidays! This season is a bit difficult for me. As I have mentioned before I am Puertorican and all my family is in the Island while I live in California. I was raised in a family that celebrated EVERYTHING. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, Valentine's, Christmas, Three Kings' Day, New Year's… anything was a good excuse to get together and celebrate at grandma's. I miss all that!

But, since my husband and I moved, we haven't had the opportunity to be with family like that again since 2011. Now we are a non-traditional family, so we decided to skip the traditional foods and go with a Pizza Party for three this Holiday season.

BzzAgent selected me as one of the bloggers to try the new Jimmy Dean's Bacon Lovers sausage and was provided with a coupon to get the product for free. Oh, and you read right. YES! Bacon Lovers. It is the delicious Jimmy Dean's pork sausage but now with bacon in it! Perfect for the meat lovers.

It is funny that I never eat pork sausage, and I would take it off of my pizza when my husband orders his meat lovers. Today we decided to stay at home and make our own pizza, adding some amazing flavor with the Jimmy Dean Bacon Lovers sausage. And I liked it!

It was so good that I had to cook a second batch of sausages because my son and husband ate the first one alone!

It was that good.

My husband's side of the pizza had: marinara sauce, cheese, ham, salami, bacon, more bacon, Jimmy Dean's Bacon Lovers sausage and more sausage.

My side had: sauce, cheese, ham, salami, bacon, Jimmy Dean's Bacon Lovers sausage, pineapple, onions and olives.

As a unanimous decision, from now on we will only eat pizza if we make our own. And with Jimmy Dean's Bacon Lovers sausage we have nothing envy from the pizza places.

Try it! You will not regret it! It is amaze-balls!
